The tea merchant was happy from Pavel and he also saw some potential in him. So he thought to give him some training and he decided to teach him some secrets of that blending tea. That was the time when Pavel learnt the secret of that blending tea.

After that Pavel got married to the daughter of tea merchant, Alexandra. Then as a wedding gift, the tea merchant gave him a teashop in Sadovaia Street. This was the moment of 1867, when P.M Kousmichoff teahouse came into being. Pavel and Alexandra had 6 children together.

What happened in 1901?

Then in 1901, his business flourished and expanded. At that moment, Pavel was the owner of 10 more tea shops. His company stood among the top 3 largest companies of Russia. What happened in 1917?

Then in 1917, the Russian revolution was began, Viatcheslav had to leave the Russia, so he shifted major part of his fortune to London and also opened a headquarters in 75 Avenue Neil, Paris. At that moment he shortened his tea firm’s name to Kusmi Tea.

What happened in 1972?

But unfortunately he wasn’t a successful business man like his father and grandfather. So he failed to run such a big company and then he decided to sale out his company. So he sold the company. Company continued to sell its teas, but wasn’t running so efficiently.
